Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is responsible for the executive leadership and day-to-day management of MedLife, within the scope of the powers delegated by the Board of Directors and in accordance with the provisions of the Articles of Association.
The Executive Committee is composed of the Company's executive directors, who are appointed by the Board of Directors for a four-year term. It is responsible for implementing the strategy and objectives approved by the Board of Directors, as well as for managing the Company's day-to-day operations.
The current term of office of the members of the Executive Committee runs from 21 October 2024 to 20 October 2028.
Mihail Marcu
Chief Executive Officer
Mihail Marcu has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of MedLife since August 2006 and as Chief Executive Officer of the Company since December 2016. He graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Bucharest in 1995 and has completed numerous postgraduate programs and professional training courses organized by the Romanian Banking Institute, The Open University, DC Gardner Training and CODECS, both in Romania and abroad.
Prior to his appointment as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mihail Marcu served as Chief Executive Officer of MedLife from January 2004 to August 2006. Before joining MedLife, he was Vice President of RoBank, a credit institution that subsequently became Bancpost and is now part of Banca Transilvania, a position for which he was authorized by the National Bank of Romania. Throughout his banking career, he also held several management positions at Credit Bank Romania S.A. and RoBank S.A., including Credit Inspector, Head of the Credit Department, Director of the Credit Department and Director of the Corporate Department.
Nicolae Marcu
Chief Healthcare and Operations Officer
Nicolae Marcu has served as a member of the Board of Directors of MedLife and as the Company's Chief Health and Operations Officer since December 2016. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest in 1996 and has been a PhD candidate in Psychiatry since 2000. He has also completed numerous postgraduate programs and professional training courses in psychiatry, both in Romania and abroad.
Prior to his appointment to his current position, Nicolae Marcu served as Chief Executive Officer of MedLife from August 2006 to December 2016. Before joining MedLife, he practiced as a specialist psychiatrist at the "Prof. Dr. Alexandru Obregia" Clinical Hospital of Psychiatry in Bucharest.
Dorin Preda
Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Dorin Preda has served as a member of the Board of Directors of MedLife since 2008 and as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Company since October 2024. He graduated from the Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banking and Stock Exchanges of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies in 1998 and has more than 25 years of professional experience in banking, finance and management.
Prior to joining MedLife, Dorin Preda served as Chief Executive Officer of Asilife Insurance Broker S.R.L. from 2007 to 2008. Before that, he held the position of Branch Manager at HVB–Țiriac Bank S.A. (2006–2007), HVB Bank România S.A. (2005–2006), Banca Comercială Ion Țiriac S.A. (2004–2005) and RoBank S.A. (2003–2004). He also served as Director of the Loans and Marketing Department (2001–2002) and Credit Analyst (2000–2001) at RoBank S.A., as well as Director of the Loans Department at Banca Dacia Felix S.A. (1999–2000).
HVB–Țiriac Bank S.A., HVB Bank România S.A. and Banca Comercială Ion Țiriac S.A. have since been integrated into UniCredit Bank S.A., while RoBank S.A. subsequently became Bancpost and is now part of Banca Transilvania.

Oana-Alina Irinoiu-Titu has served as Group Chief Financial Officer of MedLife and as a member of the Executive Committee since October 2022. She graduated from the Faculty of International Economic Relations of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and has professional experience in financial audit, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and investor relations.
Oana-Alina Irinoiu-Titu joined MedLife in 2018. Prior to her appointment as Chief Financial Officer, she led the Company's M&A activities for small and medium-sized transactions, being involved in the identification, evaluation and execution of investment projects, as well as in post-acquisition integration processes. She also served for a short period as Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Alongside her M&A responsibilities, she held the position of Investor Relations Manager for four years, contributing to the development of the Company's relationships with investors and financial analysts and to strengthening MedLife's communication with the capital markets. Prior to joining MedLife, she spent five years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where she specialized in financial audit for financial institutions.
